Les Brown Headlines the Terry L. Truvillion Foundation Scholarship Dinner

Dr. Terry L. Truvillion, principal of the Ronald McNair Technical Middle School, has a motto, ‘work until the job is done.’



 That was part of the motivation that led her to create the Truvillion Scholarship Foundation. On Saturday, April 23rd at 7 p.m. at the Cobo Convention Center, the Foundation will hold its first Scholarship Dinner. At the dinner, the first students to receive scholarships, who will also be entering college in the fall of this year, will be honored. Special celebrity guests include Miss Black California, Isis McKenzie, a performance by God’s Little Soldiers, and the keynote address presented by well-known motivational speaker, Les Brown. Tickets to the fundraiser are still available for $100 each. For more information, please call 877-Truvillion or 313-719-0600.
