On Saturday, April 30, the doors of every Detroit Public School will be open to you from 9 a.m. until noon, so that you can visit and thoroughly get to know the schools you are interested in for your children.
It will be the perfect opportunity for you to go to those schools, talk to the staff, tour the facility, see what types of work the students are involved in and learn about the academic and enrichment programs the schools have to offer. You need all the information you can get before you decide which school your child will attend, and this is the day to become better informed about the many academic and career-tech educational opportunities that are unique to the Detroit Public Schools District.
