Stop The Violence Now!!!

If not you, who? If not now, when?

Dr. Terry Truvillion, principal of the McNair Technical Middle School is tired of the violent environment that her students have to survive in. Some of it is spurred by peer pressure….some of it by people who simply have no respect for themselves or others…some of it by the criminal element. But what ever the reasons, the violence adversely affects everyone and it will take everyone in the community to bring it to a halt. On Wednesday, April 6, anyone who wants to stop the violence is invited to meet at 5:00 p.m. at McNair, 4180 Marlborough, not just to talk about violence, but to put forth solutions and viable plans for trying to stop it. McNair students and staff will tell about their brushes with violence to help get the point across. Educators, parents, business people, religious leaders, gang squad members and others will also be in attendance. You are needed there too. Be a part of the solution. For more information call Dr. Truvillion at 313-417-8790.
