Just For Parents

You can always learn something new and that is why the DPS Department of Parent and Community Liaisons continually sponsors workshops, just for parents, where they can learn something new.

A special series of workshops entitled Lunch and Learn will be in sessions from now through February 28th. Parents will learn more about ancient Egypt, celebrating African American History Month, and the Museum and the Community. The sessions are being held on Mondays and Wednesdays from noon to 2 p.m. They may be just for parents, but they are filling up quickly so you must call 313-873-9974 to reserve a seat. And true to the title of this activity, a free lunch will be served.
