On Friday, November 19th, there is a whole evening full of good fun, good people, and good food waiting for you at the Friends of Bates Academy –Celebration of Academic Excellence. The reception is at 6, dinner at 7. While you peruse the items in the Silent Auction, Charles and Gwen Scales will work their musical magic along with EFURU, a classical music quintet consisting of Bates alumni.
