If you ask the students at Drew Middle School to name their favorite football player, they'll say Robert Porcher, defensive end for the Detroit Lions.
Porcher spent an entire day at the school. Part of the day was spent touting the benefits of drinking milk for the United Dairy Industry of Michigan, in front of a camera. The other part of the day was pure fun and mingling with a couple of hundred totally excited Drew students. They got up close and personal with Porcher who talked to the youngsters, posed with every student for a Polaroid photo and gave each a signed football.
