Rally Around The Schools

Keep Saturday, August 28th free because you’ll want to join the thousands of Metro Detroit area parents, students and friends of the Detroit Public Schools at the Back to School Rally on Belle Isle. The District’s annual event that gets everybody pumped up for the school year lasts from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

There’ll be lots of entertainment, immunizations, activities for children, refreshments, school supplies, you can enroll your child on-site, and there will be a special appearance by Slum Village. You need to be there. Your child needs to be there. Give your child a great future by enrolling him or her in a Detroit Public School. For more information call 313-873-7098. The Back To School Rally is hosted by the Detroit Public Schools in collaboration with the Mayor’s Neighborhood City Halls and the Council of Baptist Pastors.
