The Association of School Business Officials recently awarded the District its highest honor…a Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for its outstanding comprehensive annual financial report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2003.

This is the second year in a row that the District has received the award. Earning it only once is considered a truly major achievement by the financial reporting counterparts in other School Districts. Earning it twice is extraordinary.

The program which results in the award was designed to encourage school business officials to achieve high standards of financial reporting. The award verifies that the District has met or exceeded the standards of financial reporting set by the Association.
