WDTR-FM has changed its call letters. The station will now be known as WRCJ-FM (90.9). The change is effective today. The change in the call letters is the first major step in the station’s transformation.
Beginning this fall, the station will be run by an outside entity on behalf of the Detroit Public Schools. A Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking bids from parties interested in running the station will be made available next week. In the meantime, the station’s format will remain the same until the fall when it changes to classical and jazz.
