That phrase and Harms Elementary School just seem to go hand in hand. Harms recently received the Dreamers Wake the Nation Award at the fifth annual National Renaissance Conference in Madison, Wisconsin.
It is the top award at the conference and is given to the school that has shown outstanding student achievement with the Renaissance Learning materials, nationwide. Harms principal Patricia Diaz accepted the award.
Over 3,000 educators from across the country attended the conference which provided more than 100 professional development workshops along with training and motivational speakers.
