Email

I am interested in obtaining an email account through the District. How do I obtain one?
All DPS employees have a district email account. If you are unsure of what your login and password are, please contact the helpdeskat 873-0123.

I have some information that needs to be sent to all Principals/DPS Employees, how do I send it?
Please have the information approved by the head of your department/school and submit it to The Office of Information Technology, located in Albert Kahn, 4th floor or send it to webmaster@detroitk12.org. Please allow 1 - 2 days for processing.

Internet Access

My internet connection doesn't seem to be working properly. Who can I contact for support?
Please submit a ticket using the DPS Self Service Portal or call (313) 873-0123.

Student Records & Transcripts

I need to get a copy of my school transcripts. How do I go about doing this?
For graduates of 1974 - present, you can obtain an official copy of your school transcript from the school you graduated from. Please contact them directly.

If you graduated prior to 1974, you can obtain your transcript by calling 313.873.7120.

Please be prepared to supply your name (at time of graduation), birthdate, school name and year you graduated.

Web Site

My School is interested in having a website developed. How do we do this or who should we call?
Please have your principal contact the DPS Web Development Team at webteam@detroitk12.org.

Our Office has some information we would like to publish on the DPS website such as forms and services provided. Who do we contact about this?

The information on our School/Department/Office web site is incorrect. Who do I send changes to?
We understand that information on the web needs to be accurate and up to date. That is why we have made it easy for you to submit change requests. Simply email the DPS Web Development Team at webteam@detroitk12.org with your request.

The font size on the DPS Website is too small or too large.
The DPS Website has been designed to follow W3C Standards. Visitors can now choose their own font size.

  • Internet Explorer and Firefox: Choose View > Text Size.
  • Safari: Choose View > Make Text Bigger, or View > Make Text Smaller, or View > Make Text Normal
