At-Large Board Member, Rev. Jimmy Womack, M.D., a retired anesthesiologist, formerly served as the President of the Detroit Board of Education. In addition to his numerous career accomplishments, he has mentored young African-American males and created, with his wife, a non-profit organization Coalition Inc. that focuses on reducing morbidity and mortality in the community. A recipient of his Master of Divinity degree, this ordained minister is serving both the Plymouth United Church of Christ and the St. John/St. Luke United Church of Christ.
