Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Title I/Section 31a Monitoring and Field Services is to ensure that all schools and school based Title I, Part A and Section 31a programs are compliant with federal and state regulations, legislation and guidelines.

Supplemental Educational Services / Choice

The Department of State & Federal Programs implements the Public School of Choice Transfer and the Supplemental Educational Services programs at the beginning of the school year. Under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, these programs are offered to Title I schools in need of improvement, corrective action, and restructuring.
