In order to ensure effective and equitable services for English Language Learners (ELLs), proper supervision and monitoring must be implemented at the school level. Central Office staff will provide support to all bilingual and non-bilingual instructional staff in order to assist in the implementation of the bilingual program.
When a new bilingual instructional staff person is assigned, the principal should make certain that a bilingual staff person provides the necessary support to ensure the professional success of that teacher.
