The District's Continuous Improvement Strategy is funded by generous donations from foundation partners. Their donations allow us to train employees in continuous improvement and implement specific strategies to improve student achievement and the effectiveness and efficiency of the District.

The Office of Continuous Improvement is responsible for implementing continuous improvement through Detroit Public Schools using the Baldrige Education Criteria for Performance Excellence. The Office provides school teams with training and consulting support in continuous improvement and quality tools. School teams include parents and members of the community as well as faculty and staff.
