The Transportation Information Center (TIC) is responsible for assisting callers with transportation concerns and resolving issues. In doing so, customer service agents interact with ancillary bus and taxicab providers, as well as student transportation personnel from the various departments, i.e. Scheduling, Field Trips, Dispatch, Maintenance, as well as school administrators, parents and others from our community. Important information concerning bus schedules, late buses, student scheduling, special education schedules, school hours, half day schedules, contractor transportation, Safety Net, field trips, etc., for parents and school personnel is readily available or accessible through the Transportation Information Center. To assist and better serve customers, a summary of Frequently Asked Questions have been compiled, therefore, there is consistency in the responses given to the callers from agents.

Also included in the Customer Service Area are two (2) radio dispatching sites, one for communicating with private ancillary bus providers and one for communicating with DPS bus providers. Radio communications being placed in Customer Service provides spontaneous responses to callers.

Hours of Operation: The TIC is staffed between the hours of 6:00a.m. - 7:00p.m. to answer customer service questions.
