How to Obtain Services

Hours of Operations

The Service Response Center is staffed between the hours of 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday during regular school months and 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday during Summer months except for holidays. After these hours, holidays and weekends, Security will assist you in obtaining emergency service by calling 313-873-2100.

Maximo 5.2 Web

Maximo 5.2 is an Intranet-based work order management system that allows DPS Facility Services to better manage incoming work requests. We strongly encourage the use of Maximo 5.2 Web.

You may also use the Maximo 5.2 Web to access the status of your request.

Although Maximo 5.2 Web is a convenient way to request services, please keep the following in mind:

  • Emergency request should be made in person or by telephone at 313-578-7100 or (after hours call 313-873-2100). Do not leave a voice messages and do not use Maximo 5.2 Web to submit an emergency request.
  • All request of each school should come from one designated source so that duplicate requests can be kept to a minimum.

Normal Service Requests building repairs, mechanical service, energy management or engineering services can be submitted by calling the Service Response Center at 313-578-7100 or by requesting service on the Maximo 5.2 Web. Either way your requests for service will be managed by a professional and courteous staff.
